Can I transport personal belongings with my car?
Linus Auto Transport does not insure personal belongings for loss or damage during car transport. Per Department of Transportation regulations, personal items placed in the front or back seats of a vehicle during the car shipping process are prohibited. Outside of special circumstances (signed off by the driver for an additional fee), please make sure to remove all belongings from the trunk and cab of your vehicle before shipment. Additional weight may increase your car shipping cost compared to the quote you’ve received. Consult with your driver if you have questions about your particular shipping situation, or contact us directly. All auto shipping situations are unique, so we’re happy to assist you in finding a vehicle transport solution that works for you.
